We'd have to be careful and avoid the kill teams General Mahad ordered to terminate everyone. I think it would be a great way to show us as the players why, in reality, trained soldiers can't stand up to the necromorphs as guns just aren't that effective. We could follow our two unwitting Heros as they fight to survive and eventually try to help Dr. Though we know the deep dig teams started to be sent up in coffins or cryo as they feel victim to the horrors in the city surrounding the machine.

Obviously the Navy would start losing it first being closest to the moon. We could experience the slow decline and divide that begins to affect the navy, army, and scientists to stop trusting each other as everything begins to break down. They've already got a character whose eyes we could experience it through in Tim Caufman and Sam Ackerman. Though I think a cool offshoot game could be learning what happened on Tau Volantis before we get there with Isaac. The second half of the game would presumably be either finding a way to combat the brother Moons or finding a place to hide from them. From that point it would be trying to survive and searching for survivors (hopefully including Isaac and Carver). What I've heard second hand is that you'd start as Ellie trying to repair your ship as the shock jump failed. So I've actually heard that dead space four might be a possibility in the future and they have a rough idea of what it'll be.
